LES CULTURES GOURMANDES
A few shots of this weekend's Pointe-A-Calliere Museum's Cultural Feast, held in Old Montreal from May 29 to May 30th. It is a family friendly outing with activities for the kids, music and numerous booths offering a variety of foods from Montreal's diverse cultural community
Was it any good? What kind of stuff did they have? I see there was the requisite amount of bonnets and other old-timey attire...ReplyDelete
Enough with the bonnet query.ha!ha! I wanted to give people a flavor of the history and charm of Old Montreal. To answer your foodie question they had a booth hosted by the Naked Lunch who highlighted canned duck smoked meat as their specialty. Some of the local restaurants also had booths as did various cultural communities. You would have enjoyed the slow food presentation atone of the tents.
